Choose which itinerary is best for you or suggest your own favorite route and enjoy a day in the parks and mountains of Abruzzo.

"IN THE HEART OF GRAN SASSO: FROM PRATI DI TIVO TO PIETRACAMELA"From Prati di Tivo to the charming village of Pietracamela, a hike for all skill levels, through the Rio Arno valley and along the ancient Traje trail.

Nature, art and gastronomy
"THE MAVONE VALLEY"
From Pretara to the ruins of Pagliara Castle, with the eastern range of the Gran Sasso towering along the way. And, to refresh yourself, a possibility to taste the "Frantoio Gran Sasso" oil in combination with typical products. This is followed by a visit to the impressive Romanesque abbey of San Giovanni ad Insulam.HIKE DETAILS

Rock climbing
"THE CLIFFS OF THE GRAN SASSO"Would you like to get closer to the world of rock climbing but you have never found the right opportunity?
You will have the chance to embark on this adventure by experiencing the thrill of cliff climbing! This low-altitude excursion, which is also available during the coldest periods, will allow you to learn the basics of this fantastic sport and immediately try your first steps on the cliffs.
COST: € 50 (minimum 6 participants) or € 200.
The price also includes the provision of climbing harness and helmet.
Snow hike
"SNOWSHOEING TO THE STONE CITY"If you love snow and are fascinated by winter landscapes, a snowshoe hike might be just right for you. From December, and throughout the winter period (snow permitting), this hike is available both at night and during the day. Be amazed by the majesty of the ancient Aschiero forest at the Reva, cross the "City of Stone" canyon, and admire its towering walls that cut their way through the trees, forming a long stone gorge.
For the hungry on the way back, it is possible to request refreshments at the Cima Alta refuge.
