For a different kind of entertainment, we recommend some theatrical performances directed by the Company of White Blackbirds ("La Compagnia dei Merli Bianchi"). Founded in 2009, this Giulianova-based company is active in national and local theaters, where it stages its performances thanks to the involvement of actors, art-therapy experts, musicians, theater enthusiasts, set designers and photographers. It is also supported by a network of regional and national associations that are civically engaged and active in social work.
The association focuses on organizing events, theatrical and body expression workshops, book presentations, yoga and shows, interventions with performances and theatrical shows connected to conferences. The theatrical research work gives special attention to issues related to childhood, disabilities, civic engagement and human rights.
Artistic and organizational direction: Margherita Di Marco and Alessandra Zancocchia.
